Separate the right edge adhesive

  • The right edge of the iPad contains the screen magnets, display cables, and a digitizer cable. These components are easily damaged if an opening pick is inserted too far.

  • Insert a new opening pick in the bottom right corner and slide along the right edge to separate the adhesive. Make sure to note the following marked areas:

  • Don't insert an opening pick more than 2 mm or you'll damage the screen magnets.

  • The screen magnets are located directly above the SIM card slot (Wi-Fi + Cellular models only) and volume buttons.

  • Don't insert an opening pick more than 3 mm or you'll damage the display and digitizer cables.

  • Don't insert an opening pick more than 5 mm or you'll damage the display edges.

  • Leave the pick in the top right corner to prevent the adhesive from re-sealing.

Separar el adhesivo del borde derecho

El borde derecho del iPad contiene los imanes de la pantalla, los cables de la pantalla y un cable del digitalizador. Estos componentes se dañan fácilmente si una púa de apertura se inserta demasiado.

Inserta una nueva púa de apertura en la esquina inferior derecha y deslízala por el borde derecho para separar el adhesivo. Asegúrate de tener en cuenta las siguientes áreas marcadas:

No insertes una púa de apertura más de 2 mm o dañarás los imanes de la pantalla.

Los imanes de la pantalla están ubicados directamente encima de la ranura de la tarjeta SIM (solo modelos Wi-Fi + Cellular) y los botones de volumen.

No insertes una púa de apertura más de 3 mm o dañarás la pantalla y los cables del digitalizador.

No insertes una púa de apertura más de 5 mm o dañarás los bordes de la pantalla.

Deja la púa en la esquina superior derecha para evitar que el adhesivo se vuelva a sellar.
