Unfasten the daughterboard cover

  • Removing the daughterboard cover isn't mandatory to replace the battery. However, doing so reduces the risk of damaging surrounding components.

  • Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the six 3.8 mm-long screws securing the daugtherboard cover.
