Set the multimeter to continuity test mode

  • Unplug the power cord from the device and from the AC outlet. Failure to do so can result in electrical shock or death.

  • Set the multimeter to continuity test mode.

  • The setting is symbolized by a diode or sound wave symbol as seen in the pictures. If the meter is set to the correct mode, you should hear the meter beep when the leads are touched together.

  • Verify that the positive lead is plugged to the voltmeter/ ohmmeter outlet.

Impostare il multimetro

Scollega il cavo di alimentazione dal dispositivo e dalla presa di corrente. In caso contrario, potresti prendere una scossa elettrica anche mortale.

Imposta il multimetro in modalità test di continuità.

L'impostazione è identificata da un diodo o da un "simbolo di volume" come si vede nelle immagini. Se lo strumento è impostato nella modalità corretta, dovresti sentire il bip dello strumento quando i puntali vengono a contatto.

Verifica che il puntale positivo sia collegato alla presa del voltmetro/ ohmmetro.
