Manually retract the old mast by hand. Once the old mast is fully retracted push the old mast downward and out through the top nylon bushing and fully remove the mast. Remove the top bushing from the mast housing. REMEMBER how far the mast sits above the top bushing as you can set the hight during reassembly.
