Install the new lens

  • Ideally, the new lens will snap into place and hold firmly.

  • DO NOT use superglue to seal the lens. Over a few days it will deposit a film on the inside of the lens.

  • Here the lens was loose. I applied a small amount of epoxy to the outside, wiped to remove excess, centered the lens and allowed the epoxy to cure. I do not have a seam in my 360 image.

Neue Linse installieren

Im Idealfall haftet die neue Linse auf der Stelle fest und hält.

Benutze KEINEN Sekundenkleber, um die Linse abzudichten. Nach ein paar Tagen wird eine sichtbare Ablagerung auf der Innenseite der Linse erkennbar.

Bei mir war die Linse zu locker. Ich habe etwas Epoxidharz auf der Außenseite angebracht, den Überschuss entfernt, die Linse zentriert und gewartet, bis das Epoxid ausgehärtet war. Ich habe keinen Fehler in meinem 360° Bild entdeckt.
