  • place the digitizer on a clean surface in front of you. Note that the inner touch side also has a clear protective film on it. Gently bend the area around the connection tapes (so as not to stick the tape to the foil but to the proper screen)

  • remove the tape protecting the adhesive on the tapes from the inside. This side should stick to the digitizer glass.

  • gently bend the tape to the surface of the digitizer. The glue is not very strong but should be enough for a moment. Cover the glued tape with the previously removed digitizer protective film (in the previous point). This will stop the tape from peeling off

  • do not press the adhesive tape. The concentrated connection paths of the entire digitizer in this place are less than 1mm. It's a really delicate and sensitive place. Pressing (possibly breaking) may cause dead lines on the touch surface (after all, it worked during the previous test :-) )

Touchscreen-Flachbandkabel wegbiegen

Lege den Touchscreen vor dich auf eine saubere Oberfläche. Beachte, dass sich auf der inneren Touch-Seite ebenfalls eine durchsichtige Schutzfolie befindet. Biege den Bereich um die Verbindungsbänder vorsichtig um (sodass das Band nicht an der Folie, sondern an dem eigentlichen Display klebt)

Entferne das Band, das auf der Innenseite den Klebstoff auf den Bändern schützt. Diese Seite sollte auf dem Glas des Touchscreens kleben.

Biege das Band vorsichtig zur Oberfläche des Touchscreens. Der Kleber ist nicht sehr stark, sollte aber für einen Moment ausreichen. Bedecke das Klebeband mit der zuvor entfernten Touchscreen-Schutzfolie (siehe vorheriger Punkt). Dadurch wird verhindert, dass sich das Klebeband ablöst.

Drücke nicht auf das Klebeband. Die dichten Verbindungswege des gesamten Touchscreens betragen an dieser Stelle weniger als 1 mm. Das ist eine wirklich heikle und empfindliche Stelle. Ein Drücken (oder gar Brechen) kann zu toten Linien auf der Touch-Oberfläche führen (immerhin hat es beim letzten Test funktioniert :-) )
