Slice the adhesive

  • Reheat your iOpener and apply it to the top edge of the device for at least 2 minutes.

  • Insert an opening pick or a halberd spudger just past the front-facing camera.

  • Use your cutting tool to slice the remaining adhesive underneath the top edge of your device.

  • Don't insert your slicing tool deeper than 2 mm, or you risk permanently damaging the display panel.

  • If the slicing becomes hard, reheat the edge and try again.

Kleber auftrennen

Erwärme den iOpener nochmals und lege ihn mindestens zwei Minuten lang auf die Oberkante des iPads.

Setze ein Plektrum oder einen Hellebarden-Spudger unmittelbar nach der Frontkamera ein.

Trenne den restlichen Kleber an der Oberkante des iPads mit deinem Werkzeug auf.

Setze dein Werkzeug nicht tiefer als 2 mm ein, du riskierst sonst einen dauerhaften Schaden am Displaypanel.

Wenn sich der Kleber nur noch schwer auftrennen lässt, musst du die Kante wieder erwärmen, bevor du weitermachst.
