Tape over a cracked screen

  • Before starting repairs, take your iPad off the charger and power it down.

  • If your display is badly cracked, covering it with a layer of clear packing tape may allow the suction cup to adhere. Alternatively, very strong tape may be used instead of the suction cup. If all else fails, you can superglue the suction cup to the broken screen.

  • Do your best to follow the rest of the guide as described. However, once the glass is broken, it will likely continue to crack as you work, and you may need to use a metal prying tool to scoop the glass out.

  • Wear eye protection. The glass may break, sending pieces flying.

Avant de commencer les réparations, débranchez votre iPad de son chargeur et éteignez-le.

Si l'écran du téléphone est très fissuré, la ventouse risque de ne pas adhérer. Collez des bandes adhésives sur l'écran ou bien essayez de remplacer la ventouse par du ruban adhésif épais ou bien collez la ventouse avec de la superglue et laissez sécher avant de continuer.

Faites de votre mieux pour suive le reste de ce tutoriel comme décrit. Cependant quand la vitre est fêlée, il est très probable qu'elle continue à se fissurer au fur et à mesure du démontage, et vous serez peut-être amené à utiliser un levier en métal pour retirer la vitre.

Portez des lunettes de protection. La vitre peut éclater et projeter des morceaux de verre.
