How to remove a stuck battery

  • If you're still having trouble removing the battery, apply a few drops of high concentration (90% or higher) isopropyl alcohol under the edge of the battery in the area of the broken adhesive strip(s).

  • Wait about one minute for the alcohol solution to weaken the adhesive.

  • Use an opening pick or the flat end of a spudger to gently lift the battery.

  • Don't try to forcefully lever the battery out. If needed, apply a few more drops of alcohol to further weaken the adhesive. Never deform or puncture the battery with your pry tool.

Batería atascada: cómo solucionarlo

Si todavía tienes problemas para quitar la batería, aplica un par de gotas de alcohol isopropílico de alta concentración (90 % o superior) por el borde de la batería para que se deslice por su parte inferior, cerca de la zona donde están los adhesivos rotos.

Espera alrededor de un minuto para que el alcohol haga efecto sobre el adhesivo.

Usa una lengüeta de apertura o la parte plana de unas pinzas de punta redonda para levantar suavemente la batería.

Intenta no forzar la batería cuando hagas palanca de esta forma. Si lo necesitas, añade un par de gotas más de alcohol para debilitar aún más la fuerza del adhesivo. Nunca deformes o hagas excesiva presión sobre una batería con tu herramienta de palanca.
