Unfasten the Taptic Engine screws

  • Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws securing the Taptic Engine:

  • One 1.8 mm-long screw

  • One 2.1 mm-long screw

  • Use a standoff screwdriver to remove the 2.9 mm-long standoff screw securing the Taptic Engine.

  • Standoff screws are best removed using a dedicated standoff driver or driver bit. In a pinch, a small flathead screwdriver will do the job—but use extra caution to ensure it doesn't slip and damage surrounding components.

Verwijder de schroeven uit de trilmotor

Gebruik een kruiskopschroevendraaier om de twee schroeven waarmee de trilmotor is bevestigd te verwijderen:

Eén 1.8 mm lange schroef

Eén 2.1 mm lange schroef

Gebruik een standoff-schroevendraaier of -bitje om de 2.9 mm lange standoff-schroef, waarmee de trilmotor ook bevestigd is, te verwijderen.

Standoff-schroeven kun je het beste verwijderen met een speciaal daarvoor bedoelde standoff-schroevendraaier of -bitje. Als alternatief kun je ook een kleine platkopschroevendraaier gebruiken, maar wees hierbij extra voorzichtig en voorkom dat je hiermee uitschiet en omliggende onderdelen beschadigt.
