Insert an opening pick

  • Once the screen is warm to touch, apply a suction handle to the top edge of the screen and as close to the edge as possible.

  • If your screen is badly cracked, covering it with a layer of clear packing tape may allow the suction cup to adhere. Alternatively, very strong tape may be used instead of the suction handle. If all else fails, you can superglue the suction cup to the screen.

  • Lift the screen with the suction handle to create a small gap between the screen and the frame.

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap between the midframe and the screen, at the left side of the earpiece speaker cut-out.

  • Slide the opening pick to the top left corner of the screen to slice its adhesive.

  • Leave the opening pick in place to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

Ein Plektrum einsetzen

Wenn sich das Display heiß genug anfühlt, dann setze einen Saugheber so nahe wie möglich an der Oberkante des Displays an.

Wenn das Display stark gesplittert ist, haftet der Saugheber vielleicht besser, wenn du ihn mit durchsichtigem Paketband überklebst. Du kannst auch probieren, anstelle des Saughebers sehr kräftiges Klebeband zu verwenden. Wenn alles nicht hilft, dann klebe den Saugheber mit Sekundenkleber fest.

Hebe das Display mit dem Saugheber an, bis ein schmaler Spalt zwischen dem Display und dem Rahmen entstanden ist.

Setze ein Plektrum in den Spalt zwischen dem Mittelrahmen und dem Display links vom Ausschnitt für den Ohrhörer-Lautsprecher ein.

Schiebe das Plektrum zum Auftrennen des Klebers zur oberen linken Displayecke hin.

Lasse das Plektrum stecken, damit sich der Kleber nicht wieder verbinden kann.
