Insert an opening pick

  • Secure a suction handle to the bottom edge of the back cover, as close to the edge as possible.

  • If the back cover is badly cracked, covering it with a layer of clear packing tape may allow the suction cup to adhere. Alternatively, very strong tape may be used instead of the suction cup. If all else fails, you can superglue the suction cup to the broken cover.

  • Lift the back cover with the suction handle to create a small gap between the back cover and the frame.

  • If you have trouble creating a gap, apply more heat to further soften the adhesive. Follow the iOpener instructions to avoid overheating.

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap you created.

  • Slide the opening pick to the bottom left corner to slice the adhesive.

  • Leave the opening pick in place to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

Insertar una púa de apertura

Fija una ventosa en el borde inferior de la tapa trasera, lo más cerca posible del borde.

Si la cubierta posterior está muy agrietada, cubrirla con una capa de cinta de embalaje transparente puede permitir que la ventosa se adhiera. Alternativamente, se puede usar una cinta muy fuerte en lugar de la ventosa. Si todo lo demás falla, puedes pegar la ventosa a la tapa rota.

Levanta la tapa trasera con la ventosa para crear un pequeño espacio entre la tapa trasera y el marco.

Si tienes problemas para crear un espacio, aplica más calor para ablandar aún más el adhesivo. Sigue las instrucciones de iOpener para evitar el sobrecalentamiento.

Inserta una púa de apertura en el espacio que creaste.

Desliza la púa de apertura hacia la esquina inferior izquierda para cortar el adhesivo.

Deja la púa de apertura en su lugar para evitar que el adhesivo se vuelva a sellar.
