Apply isopropyl alcohol to the left edge of the logic board

  • The adhesive that secures the logic board to the frame is very strong. To remove the board, follow the next steps to weaken the adhesive using high-strength (>90%) isopropyl alcohol.

  • Elevate the left side of the iPad so that it lays down at an angle.

  • Apply a few drops of isopropyl alcohol along the left edge of the logic board.

  • Be careful if you're using a syringe with a needle or other sharp instrument to dispense isopropyl alcohol—a punctured or bent battery may leak dangerous chemicals or cause a fire.

  • Let the alcohol soak for one minute to soften the adhesive under the logic board.

Aplica alcohol isopropílico en el borde izquierdo de la placa base

El adhesivo que fija la placa base al marco es muy fuerte. Para retirar la placa, sigue los siguientes pasos para diluir el adhesivo con alcohol isopropílico de alta resistencia (>90%).

Eleva el lado izquierdo del iPad para que quede inclinado.

Aplica unas gotas de alcohol isopropílico en el borde izquierdo de la placa base.

Ten cuidado si usa una jeringa con aguja u otro instrumento afilado para dispensar alcohol isopropílico. Una batería perforada o doblada podría derramar sustancias químicas peligrosas o provocar un incendio.

Deja que el alcohol actúe durante un minuto para ablandar el adhesivo debajo de la placa base.
