Remove the Laser Modul Housing - 1

  • Carefully turn the CD player over so the bottom side is up. Remove the 4 Phillips head screws that hold the housing to the base plate (photo on left).

  • Now, turn the unit back on its feet. Looking from the front of the player, there is a ribbon cable held to the side of the housing with a cable tie (see red arrow). This should be cut off with scissors. Replacement of this tie is not needed on reassembly (center photo).

  • On the right side of the housing, lift the ribbon cable and the wires from the connector near the front of the housing out of the white cable guide mounted on the base plate (green circle). It isn't necessary to remove the connectors (photo on right).

Verwijder de behuizing van de lasermodule - 1

Draai de cd-speler voorzichtig om zodat de onderkant naar boven wijst. Verwijder de 4 kruiskopschroeven waarmee de behuizing op de bodemplaat is bevestigd (foto links).

Zet het apparaat nu weer op zijn pootjes. Vanaf de voorkant van de speler gezien, is er een lintkabel die met een kabelbinder aan de zijkant van de behuizing wordt vastgehouden (zie rode pijl). Deze moet met een schaar of kniptang worden afgeknipt. Vervanging van deze kabelbinder is niet nodig bij het weer monteren (middelste foto).

Trek aan de rechterkant van de behuizing de lintkabel en de draden van de connector aan de voorkant van de behuizing uit de witte kabelgeleider die op de basisplaat is gemonteerd (groene cirkel). Het is niet nodig om de connectoren te verwijderen (foto rechts).
