Turn on the heat gun

  • Turn on the heat gun.

  • While heat guns can reach temperatures up to 1000 °F and higher, softening adhesives for electronics only requires a maximum of 200 °F. This can easily be achieved with the heat gun's low to medium-low setting.

  • Always start with the heat gun's lowest flow speed and temperature settings to avoid overheating the device you're working on.

  • If your heat gun has fine control over the temperature, keep it in the mid-to-low range. Anything higher could deform plastic or damage internal components.

  • When not in use, set the heat gun on a stable surface. The nozzle will remain hot after use.

Schalte die Heißluftpistole an.

Heißluftpistole werden locker heißer als 500 °C. Um Kleber in Elektronikgeräten aufzuweichen, brauchst du allerdings nur etwa 90 °C. Die untere oder mittlere Stufe deiner Heißluftpistole reicht vollkommen aus.

Beginne immer auf der untersten Stufe deiner Heißluftpistole, damit du das Gerät, an dem du arbeitest, nicht überhitzt.

Wenn du deine Heißluftpistole fein einstellen kannst, halte sie auf der mittleren bis unteren Stufe. Als andere könnte das Plastik verformen oder Komponenten beschädigen.

Wenn du die Heißluftpistole gerade nicht verwendest, setze sie auf einer stabilen Oberfläche ab. Die Spitze ist auch nach der Benutzung noch ziemlich lange heiß.
