Protect the other components

  • Before removing the battery, it's important to protect the other components in the rear case by covering them with tape.

  • Cut a strip of painter's tape or Scotch tape to the width of the iPad.

  • Press the bottom edge of the tape strip onto the rear case above the speakers and bottom antennas.

  • Run your finger along the bottom edge of tape strip to ensure a good seal.

  • Press the top edge of the tape strip over the bottom components to keep any cables from intruding on the battery removal.

Restliche Bauteile schützen

Es ist wichtig, dass du vor dem Ausbau des Akkus die restlichen Bauteile im Gehäuserückteil schützt. Klebe sie dazu mit Klebeband ab.

Schneide einen Streifen von Malerband auf die Breite des iPads zu.

Drücke die Unterkante des Streifens auf die Gehäuserückseite über den Lautsprechern und die unteren Antennen.

Fahre mit dem Finger an der Unterkante des Streifens entlang, damit er gut festklebt.

Drücke die Oberkante des Streifens über die unteren Bauteile, damit keine Kabel beim Ausbau des Akkus stören können.
