Protect the other components

  • Before removing the battery, it's important to protect the other components in the rear case by covering them with tape.

  • Cut a strip of painter's tape or Scotch tape to the width of the iPad.

  • Press the bottom edge of the tape strip onto the rear case above the speakers and bottom antennas.

  • Run your finger along the bottom edge of tape strip to ensure a good seal.

  • Press the top edge of the tape strip over the bottom components to keep any cables from intruding on the battery removal.

Protéger les autres composants

Avant de retirer la batterie, il est important de protéger les autres composants de la coque arrière en les recouvrant de ruban adhésif.

Coupez une bande de ruban adhésif de peintre ou de scotch de la largeur de l’iPad.

Appuyez le bord inférieur de la bande de ruban adhésif sur la coque arrière, au-dessus des haut-parleurs et des antennes inférieures.

Passez votre doigt le long du bord inférieur de la bande de ruban adhésif pour assurer une bonne étanchéité.

Appuyez le bord supérieur de la bande de ruban adhésif sur les composants inférieurs pour éviter que les câbles n’interfèrent avec le retrait de la batterie.
