Remove the trackpad

  • Swing the display open slightly, but keep the MacBook upside-down. The trackpad assembly should separate and lay flat on the display.

  • As you remove the trackpad assembly, be very careful not to lose the nine small metal washers resting on the screw posts. (They will fly off and get lost with very little provocation.)

  • Carefully feed the trackpad's ribbon cable through its slot in the frame.

Verwijder het trackpad

Klap het scherm een klein stukje open, maar laat de MacBook op z'n kop liggen. De trackpadmodule zou nu los moeten komen en plat op het scherm moeten liggen.

Zorg dat je bij het verwijderen van de trackpadmodule goed let op de negen kleine, metalen ringen die op de schroefgaten zitten. Deze komen namelijk erg makkelijk los en zijn makkelijk kwijt te raken.

Begeleid de lintkabel van het trackpad voorzichtig door het gat in het frame.
