Heat the bottom edge

  • Completely power off your device before you begin.

  • Apply a heated iOpener to the bottom edge of the device for 90 seconds to loosen the adhesive underneath.

  • A hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate may also be used, but be careful not to overheat the device.
