Install the new graphics card

  • Place the card in the slot, and press down gently until it locks into place.

  • Ensure it’s fitted into the slot correctly and that both sides sit flush. When it’s locked in correctly, the tab on the slot should hold it in place.

  • Secure the new GPU to the slot with the screw(s) that was removed earlier.

  • Reconnect the power cables to the graphics card and power supply.

  • Startup the PC.

  • When the PC starts up for the first time after installing a new graphics card, it will search for the drivers.

  • It’s always worth using the latest drivers to ensure the best functionality and compatibility with the latest games.

  • Once the new GPU is working, it’s advisable to remove any redundant drivers and software used for the old graphics card.

Installa la nuova scheda grafica.

Posiziona la scheda nello slot e premi delicatamente verso il basso fino a quando si blocca in posizione.

Assicurati che sia inserita correttamente nello slot e che entrambi i lati siano allineati. Quando è bloccato correttamente, la linguetta sullo slot dovrebbe tenerla in posizione.

Fissa la nuova GPU allo slot con la/e vite/i che sono state precedentemente rimosse.

Ricollega i cavi di alimentazione alla scheda grafica e all'alimentatore.

Accendi il pc.

Quando il PC si avvia per la prima volta dopo l'installazione di una nuova scheda grafica, cercherà i driver.

Vale sempre la pena utilizzare i driver più recenti per garantire la migliore funzionalità e compatibilità con gli ultimi giochi.

Una volta che la nuova GPU funziona, è consigliabile rimuovere eventuali driver e software obsoleti utilizzati per la vecchia scheda grafica.
