Insert an opening pick

  • Once the screen is warm to the touch, apply a suction handle to the bottom edge of the screen.

  • If your screen is badly cracked, covering it with a layer of clear packing tape may allow the suction handle to adhere. Alternatively, very strong tape may be used instead of the suction handle. If all else fails, you can superglue the suction handle to the screen.

  • Lift the screen, including its safety frame, with the suction handle to create a small gap between the screen and the phone assembly.

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap between the screen frame and the phone assembly.

  • Make sure to insert your opening pick in the right position to avoid separating the screen from its safety frame instead of the phone assembly.

  • Slide the opening pick to the bottom right corner of the screen to slice its adhesive.

  • Leave the opening pick in place to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

Breng een openingsplectrum aan

Als het scherm eenmaal warm is, druk je een zuignap op de onderkant van het scherm.

Als je scherm gebarsten is, kun je het beplakken met een laag doorzichtige tape zodat de zuignap zich beter vast kan zuigen. In plaats van de zuignap kun je ook een stuk sterke tape gebruiken. Als dat alles niet lukt, kun je altijd nog de zuignap op het scherm bevestigen met secondelijm.

Til het scherm, inclusief het veiligheidsframe, met de zuignap omhoog om een kleine opening tussen het scherm en de telefoon te creëren.

Steek een openingsplectrum in de opening tussen het frame van het scherm en de telefoonmodule.

Zorg dat je je openingsplectrum op de juiste manier in de opening steekt om te voorkomen dat je het scherm van het veiligheidsframe scheidt.

Schuif je openingsplectrum naar de rechter benedenhoek om de lijm onder het scherm door te snijden.

Laat je plectrum in de hoek zitten om te voorkomen dat de lijm zich opnieuw aan het toestel hecht.
