Insert an opening pick

  • Once the screen is warm to the touch, apply a suction handle to the bottom edge of the screen.

  • If your screen is badly cracked, covering it with a layer of clear packing tape may allow the suction handle to adhere. Alternatively, very strong tape may be used instead of the suction handle. If all else fails, you can superglue the suction handle to the screen.

  • Lift the screen, including its safety frame, with the suction handle to create a small gap between the screen and the phone assembly.

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap between the screen frame and the phone assembly.

  • Make sure to insert your opening pick in the right position to avoid separating the screen from its safety frame instead of the phone assembly.

  • Slide the opening pick to the bottom right corner of the screen to slice its adhesive.

  • Leave the opening pick in place to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

Insérer un médiator

Quand l'écran est chaud au toucher, positionnez une ventouse sur le bord inférieur de l'écran.

Si l'écran est fissuré, couvrez-le avec une couche de bande adhésive transparente pour permettre à la ventouse de mieux adhérer. Sinon, essayez de la remplacer par du ruban adhésif épais ou bien collez la ventouse avec de la superglue et laissez sécher avant de continuer.

Soulevez l'écran avec son châssis de sécurité à l'aide de la ventouse, pour créer un petit interstice entre l'écran et le reste du téléphone.

Insérez un médiator dans l'interstice entre l'écran et le reste du téléphone.

Veillez à insérez votre médiator dans la bonne position, pour éviter de séparer l'écran de son châssis de sécurité au lieu de séparer l'écran du reste du téléphone.

Faites glisser le médiator vers le coin inférieur droit de l'écran pour découper l'adhésif.

Laissez le médiator en place pour éviter que l'adhésif adhère de nouveau.
