Remove the battery

  • Remove the battery, making sure to peel off any remaining adhesive.

  • Do not reinstall a damaged or deformed battery, as doing so is a potential safety hazard.

  • If you used isopropyl alcohol, wait ten minutes before installing the new battery to allow the alcohol to completely evaporate.

  • During reassembly:

  • Secure the new battery with pre-cut adhesive or double-sided adhesive tape. In order to position it correctly, apply the new adhesive into the device at the places where the old adhesive was located, not directly onto the battery. Press the new battery firmly into place.

  • Temporarily reconnect the battery to the motherboard to help align it correctly. Disconnect the battery after it's seated.

Verwijder de batterij

Verwijder de batterij en zorg dat je alle lijmresten verwijdert.

Herinstalleer nooit een beschadigde of vervormde batterij aangezien dit altijd een potentieel risico met zich meebrengt.

Bevestig de nieuwe batterij met op maat gesneden kleefstrips of dubbelzijdige tape. Om de batterij op de juiste plek te plaatsen, breng je de nieuwe kleefstrips aan op de plek waar de oude strips zich bevonden, en niet direct op de batterij zelf. Druk de nieuwe batterij vervolgens stevig vast.

Zorg dat je de batterijaansluiting, tijdens het weer in elkaar zetten van je toestel, tijdelijk weer op het moederbord aansluit zodat je zeker weet dat je de batterij op de juiste wijze plaatst. Koppel de batterij weer los nadat je deze definitief bevestigd hebt.

Als er nog alcohol in het toestel is achtergeleven, veeg je dit nu schoon met een pluisvrije doek of geef je de vloeistof de tijd om te drogen voordat je de nieuwe batterij installeert.
