Remove the second USB-C port shield

  • Don't pry up the USB-C port shield near the battery—a punctured or bent battery may leak dangerous chemicals or cause a thermal event.

  • Insert one tine of a pair of pointed tweezers under one of the shield's corners closest to the left speaker recess.

  • Slide the tine along the edge of the shield to detach the corner from the frame.

Verwijder het tweede schild van de USB-C-poort

Wrik het schild van de USB-C-poort niet omhoog in de buurt van de batterij. Een doorboorde of verbogen batterij kan namelijk gevaarlijke chemicaliën gaan lekken of zelfs in brand vliegen.

Steek een punt van een pincet onder de hoek van het schild die het dichtst bij de linker speaker ligt.

Schuif je punt langs de zijkant van het schild om deze kant van het frame te scheiden.
