Heat the bottom edge

  • Completely power off your phone before you begin.

  • Heat an iOpener and apply it to the back cover's bottom edge for two minutes.

  • A hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate may also be used, but be careful not to overheat the phone—the display, internal battery, and plastic back cover are all susceptible to heat damage.

Verwarm de onderkant van de achterste behuizing

Schakel je telefoon volledig uit voordat je begint met deze procedure.

Verwarm een iOpener en leg deze gedurende twee minuten op de onderkant van de achterste behuizing.

Je kunt voor deze stap ook een föhn, warmtepistool of een kookplaat gebruiken, maar wees bij het gebruik hiervan wel extra voorzichtig en voorkom dat je het toestel oververhit. Met name het scherm en de batterij zijn beide erg gevoelig voor aan warmte gerelateerde schade.
