Apply high concentration isopropyl alcohol

  • The battery adhesive of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus is very strong. If you can't manage to remove the battery by only using high concentration isopropyl alcohol (over 90%) you can try a combination with heat. In this case prepare an iOpener and apply it to the screen for at least two minutes to loosen the adhesive underneath the battery.

  • Apply 1-2 drops of high concentration (over 90%) isopropyl alcohol to the gaps in between the frame and the left and right edge of the battery.

  • Only apply a few drops and come back again if necessary. The are two cutouts in the midframe of the phone and too much isopropyl alcohol may run to the screen and loosen or damage it.

  • Let the isopropyl alcohol penetrate the battery adhesive for at least two to three minutes.

Breng hoog geconcentreerde isopropyl alcohol aan

De lijm onder de batterij van de Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus is erg sterk. Als je de batterij niet los weet te krijgen met enkel isopropyl alcohol (>90%) kun je ook warmte gebruiken om de lijm te verzwakken. Verwarm een iOpener en leg deze gedurende minimaal twee minuten op het scherm om de lijm onder de batterij te verwarmen.

Dien wat druppels hoog geconcentreerde isopropyl alcohol toe in de openingen tussen het frame en de linker- en rechterrand van de batterij.

Dien slechts een aantal druppels toe en druppel later wat meer vloeistof in de openingen indien nodig. Er zitten twee uitsnedes in het midframe van de telefoon, waardoor het toedienen van te veel isopropyl alcohol gevaarlijk kan zijn omdat het richting het scherm kan lopen en deze los kan maken.

Geef de alcohol minimaal 2-3 minuten de tijd om in de lijm onder de batterij te trekken.
