Pry up the battery

  • For this step, insert a plastic card into the edge with a wider gap between the midframe and the battery so that you have more space for the plastic card and get a better leverage.

  • Carefully slide it underneath the battery to loosen the adhesive.

  • Slide the plastic card underneath and pry up the battery from its recess.

  • The battery should come off easily. In case the battery is still sticky, repeat the previous adhesive remover procedure or use an iOpener to further soften the battery adhesive.

Wrik de batterij omhoog

In deze stap steek je een plastic kaart in de ruimte tussen de batterij en het midframe waar de opening het grootst is. Zo heb je meer ruimte om de plastic kaart in te brengen en de rand van de telefoon als hefboom te gebruiken om de batterij omhoog te duwen.

Schuif je plastic kaart langzaam en op voorzichtige wijze onder de batterij om deze van de lijm eronder te scheiden.

Schuif je plastic kaart verder onder de batterij en wrik de batterij vervolgens rustig uit het toestel omhoog.

De batterij zou er relatief gemakkelijk uit moeten komen. Als de batterij nog steeds vast wordt gehouden door de lijm, herhaal je de procedure met de lijmverwijderaar, of gebruik je een iOpener om de lijm onder de batterij verder te verzwakken.
