Hold the base of the hard drive tray and slide it out and away from its connector.

Remove the four Phillips #0 screws from the hard drive tray to free the drive.

Install the new drive into the tray, then slide the tray back into the laptop.

After inserting your new SSD, apply the thermal pad on top of the area where the connector is.
