Insert an opening pick

  • Once the screen is warm to touch, apply a suction handle to the left edge of the screen and as close to the edge as possible.

  • If your screen is badly cracked, covering it with a layer of clear packing tape may allow the suction cup to adhere. Alternatively, very strong tape may be used instead of the suction handle. If all else fails, you can superglue the suction cup to the screen.

  • Lift the screen with the suction handle to create a small gap between the screen and the frame.

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap between the midframe and the screen.

  • Slide the opening pick to the top left corner of the screen to slice its adhesive.

  • Only use the tip of the opening pick (~4-5 mm) during this procedure to avoid tangling with the in-display fingerprint cable or accidentally tearing it.

  • Leave the opening pick in place to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

Inserta una púa de apertura

Una vez que la pantalla esté caliente al tacto, aplica una ventosa en el borde izquierdo de la pantalla y lo más cerca posible del borde.

Si la pantalla está muy agrietada, cubrirla con una capa de cinta de embalar transparente puede permitir que la ventosa se adhiera. También se puede utilizar cinta adhesiva muy resistente en lugar de la ventosa. Si todo lo demás falla, puedes pegar la ventosa a la pantalla.

Levanta la pantalla con la ventosa para crear un pequeño hueco entre la pantalla y el marco.

Introduce una púa de apertura en el hueco entre el marco y la pantalla.

Desliza la púa de apertura hacia la esquina superior izquierda de la pantalla para cortar su adhesivo.

Utiliza sólo la punta de la púa de apertura (~4-5 mm) durante este procedimiento para evitar que se enrede con el cable de huellas dactilares de la pantalla o que se rompa accidentalmente.

Deja la púa de apertura en su lugar para evitar que el adhesivo se vuelva a sellar.
