Insert an opening pick

  • Secure a suction handle to the bottom edge of the back cover, as close to the edge as possible.

  • If the back cover is badly cracked, covering it with a layer of clear packing tape may allow the suction cup to adhere. Alternatively, very strong tape may be used instead of the suction cup. If all else fails, you can superglue the suction cup to the broken cover.

  • Lift the back cover with the suction handle to create a small gap between the back cover and the frame.

  • If you have trouble creating a gap, apply more heat to further soften the adhesive. Follow the iOpener instructions to avoid overheating.

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap you created.

  • Slide the opening pick to the bottom left corner to slice the adhesive.

  • Leave the opening pick in place to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

Breng een openingsplectrum aan

Druk een zuignap op de onderkant van de glazen achterkant, zo dicht mogelijk bij de onderste rand.

Als je glazen achterkant gebarsten is, kan de zuignap zich waarschijnlijk niet goed vastzuigen. Probeer het in dat geval omhoog te tillen met een stuk sterke tape of lijm de zuignap met secondelijm op je achterkant vast.

Til je glazen achterkant omhoog met behulp van je zuignap en creëer zo een kleine opening tussen de glazen achterkant en het frame van je telefoon.

Als je moeite hebt met het creëren van een opening gebruik je wat meer warmte om de lijm nog verder te verwarmen. Volg de instructies van de iOpener om te voorkomen dat je je toestel oververhit.

Steek een openingsplectrum in de opening die je zojuist hebt weten te creëren.

Schuif je plectrum naar de linker benedenhoek en snijd onderweg alle lijm door.

Laat je plectrum in de hoek zitten om te voorkomen dat de lijm zich opnieuw aan het toestel gaat hechten.
