Create a gap

  • Secure a suction handle to the right edge of the rear glass, as close to the edge as possible.

  • If the rear glass is cracked, the suction handle may not stick. Try lifting it with strong tape, or superglue the suction handle in place and allow it to cure so you can proceed.

  • Lift the rear glass with the suction handle to create a small gap between the rear glass and the frame.

  • If you have trouble creating a gap, apply more heat to further soften the adhesive. Follow the iOpener instructions to avoid overheating.

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap you created.

  • Slide the opening pick to the top right corner to slice the adhesive.

  • Leave the opening pick in place to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

Créer un écart

Sécurisez une ventouse au bord droit de la vitre arrière, aussi proche du bord que possible.

Si la vitre arrière est fissurée, la ventouse peut ne pas accrocher. Essayez de la lever avec du ruban adhésif costaud, ou bien de supergluer la ventouse en place et de laisser durcir avant de continuer.

Levez la vitre arrière avec la ventouse pour créer un petit écart entre la vitre arrière et le châssis.

Si vous n'arrivez pas à créer un écart, appliquez plus de chaleur afin de plus ramollir l'adhésif. Suivez les instructions de l'iOpener pour éviter la surchauffe.

Insérez un médiator dans l'écart que vous avez créé.

Faites glisser le médiator jusqu'au coin en haut à droite, pour couper l'adhésif.

Laissez le médiator en place pour empêcher l'adhésif de recoller la vitre arrière.
