Create a gap

  • Secure a suction handle to the right edge of the rear glass, as close to the edge as possible.

  • If the rear glass is cracked, the suction handle may not stick. Try lifting it with strong tape, or superglue the suction handle in place and allow it to cure so you can proceed.

  • Lift the rear glass with the suction handle to create a small gap between the rear glass and the frame.

  • If you have trouble creating a gap, apply more heat to further soften the adhesive. Follow the iOpener instructions to avoid overheating.

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap you created.

  • Slide the opening pick to the top right corner to slice the adhesive.

  • Leave the opening pick in place to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

Crear una brecha

Fija una ventosa en el borde derecho del cristal trasero, lo más cerca posible del borde.

Si el cristal trasero está agrietado, es posible que la ventosa no se adhiera. Intenta levantarla con cinta adhesiva fuerte, o pega con superglue la ventosa en su sitio y deje que se seque para poder continuar.

Levanta el cristal trasero con la ventosa para crear un pequeño hueco entre el cristal trasero y el marco.

Si tienes problemas para crear un hueco, aplique más calor para ablandar aún más el adhesivo. Sigue las instrucciones de iOpener para evitar el sobrecalentamiento.

Inserta una púa de apertura en el hueco que has creado.

Desliza la púa de apertura hacia la esquina superior derecha para cortar el adhesivo.

Deja la púa de apertura en su sitio para evitar que el adhesivo se vuelva a sellar.
