Insert an opening pick

  • Secure a suction handle to the bottom edge of the back cover, as close to the edge as possible.

  • If the back cover is cracked, the suction handle may not stick. Try lifting it with strong tape, or superglue the suction handle in place and allow it to cure so you can proceed.

  • Lift the back cover with the suction handle to create a small gap between the back cover and the frame.

  • If you have trouble creating a gap, apply more heat to further soften the adhesive. Follow the iOpener instructions to avoid overheating.

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap you created.

  • Slide the opening pick to the bottom right corner to slice the adhesive.

  • Leave the opening pick in place to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

Breng een openingsplectrum in de opening aan

Druk een zuignap op de onderkant van de achterste behuizing, zo dicht mogelijk bij de rand van de telefoon.

Als je achterste behuizing gebarsten is, kan het zijn dat de zuignap zich niet goed vast zuigt. Probeer het in dat geval op te tillen met een stuk sterke tape of lijm de zuignap met secondelijm op de behuizing vast.

Til de achterste behuizing omhoog met behulp van de zuignap en creëer zo een kleine opening tussen de behuizing en het frame van de telefoon.

Als je moeite hebt met het creëren van de opening, gebruik je meer warmte om de lijm te verzwakken. Volg de instructies van de iOpener om oververhitting van je toestel te voorkomen.

Steek een openingsplectrum in de opening die je zojuist hebt weten te creëren.

Schuif je openingsplectrum naar de rechter benedenhoek om de lijm door te snijden.

Laat je plectrum in de opening in de hoek zitten om te voorkomen dat de lijm zich opnieuw gaat hechten.
