Insert an opening pick

  • Secure a suction handle to the bottom edge of the back cover, as close to the edge as possible.

  • If the back cover is cracked, the suction handle may not stick. Try lifting it with strong tape, or superglue the suction handle in place and allow it to cure so you can proceed.

  • Lift the back cover with the suction handle to create a small gap between the back cover and the frame.

  • If you have trouble creating a gap, apply more heat to further soften the adhesive. Follow the iOpener instructions to avoid overheating.

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap you created.

  • Slide the opening pick to the bottom right corner to slice the adhesive.

  • Leave the opening pick in place to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

Inserisci un plettro di apertura

Fissa un manico ventosa al bordo inferiore della cover posteriore, il più vicino possibile al bordo.

Se la cover posteriore è rovinata, il manico ventosa potrebbe non attaccarsi. Prova a sollevarlo con del nastro adesivo forte, o attacca il manico ventosa con della supercolla sul punto e lascialo asciugare, così da poter procedere.

Solleva la cover posteriore con il manico ventosa, per creare una piccola apertura tra la cover posteriore e il telaio.

Se trovi difficoltà a creare l'apertura, riscalda un altro po' per allentare ulteriormente l'adesivo. Segui le istruzioni dell'iOpener per evitare di surriscaldarlo.

Inserisci il plettro di apertura nella fessura da te creata.

Fai scorrere il plettro di apertura nell'angolo in basso a destra per tagliare l'adesivo.

Lascia il plettro di apertura in posizione per prevenire che l'adesivo si riattacchi.
