mark the location for a glue port

Using an awl or drift punch, mark a central location above the back of the speaker.
This step centers the drill bit so it doesn't wander.
The exact location is not critical, as the speaker fills most of the cavity. This port will be filled with glue, so maintain some distance from the control button.
