Remove the pull-tabs

  • Grab the first pull-tab with a pair of blunt nose tweezers or your fingers and slowly pull it away from the battery and towards the bottom edge of your phone.

  • Pull hard enough to maintain tension on the strip, but don't force it. Give it plenty of time to stretch and un-stick from under the battery.

  • Don't press down on the battery. Hold the phone firmly by its sides.

  • Keep the strip flat and unwrinkled. Try to pull evenly on the whole strip, rather than pulling mainly in the middle or on one side.

  • Pull at a low angle so the strip doesn't snag on the edge of the battery.

  • If the adhesive strip breaks off, try to retrieve it using your fingers or blunt tweezers, and continue pulling—but do not pry under the battery.

  • If the adhesive breaks off underneath the battery and can't be retrieved, continue with the next step.

Verwijder de kleefstrips

Pak de eerste treklip vast met een pincet met botte uiteinden of een van je nagels en trek deze langzaam maar zeker richting de onderkant van de telefoon en van de batterij weg.

Trek hard genoeg zodat er een constante spanning op de kleefstrip blijft staan, maar gebruik geen botte kracht. Geef de kleefstrip de tijd om rustig uit te rekken en onder de batterij vandaan te komen.

Voorkom dat je druk zet op de batterij. Houd de telefoon stevig aan de zijkanten vast om ervoor te zorgen dat de kleefstrips los kunnen komen.

Trek de kleefstrips in een zo klein mogelijke hoek onder de batterij vandaan, maar voorkom dat de strip over de rand van de telefoon schuurt en mogelijk breekt.

Als een van de kleefstrips afbreekt, kun je deze opnieuw proberen vast te pakken met je vingers of een pincet. Als dat lukt, ga je verder met trekken. Wrik echter nooit onder de batterij om een van de kleefstrips opnieuw vast te pakken.

Als een van de kleefstrips onder de batterij afbreekt en niet meer kan worden vastgepakt, ga je verder met de volgende stap.
