Insert an opening pick

  • Secure a suction handle to the bottom edge of the rear glass, as close to the edge as possible.

  • If the rear glass is cracked, the suction handle may not stick. Try lifting it with strong tape, or superglue the suction handle in place and allow it to cure so you can proceed.

  • Lift the rear glass with the suction handle to create a small gap between the back cover and the frame.

  • In case you have trouble creating a gap, apply more heat to further soften the adhesive. Follow the iOpener instructions to avoid overheating.

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap you created.

  • Slide the opening pick to the bottom right corner to slice the adhesive.

  • Leave the opening pick in place to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

Poser une ventouse

Attachez une ventouse au bord inférieur de la vitre arrière, aussi près du bord que possible.

Si la vitre arrière du téléphone est fissurée, la ventouse risque de ne pas adhérer. Essayez de la remplacer par du ruban adhésif épais ou bien collez la ventouse avec de la superglue et laissez sécher avant de continuer.

Soulevez la vitre arrière à l'aide de la ventouse afin de créer un petit interstice entre la vitre arrière et le cadre.

Si vous avez des difficultés à créer cet interstice, chauffez plus pour ramollir l'adhésif davantage. Suivez les instructions du iOpener pour éviter une surchauffe.

Insérez un médiator dans l'interstice que vous venez de créer.

Faites glisser le médiator vers le coin inférieur droit pour couper l'adhésif.

Laissez le médiator en place pour éviter que l'adhésif adhère de nouveau.
