Use a pressure screw instead of spring

  • On the lower wooden block, drill a hole and insert a fairly large screw. It should have flat end in order not to damage the support for the lamp (generally a bed or a shelf).

  • It would be difficult to do a thread in the wood (however, you can try). I inserted a nut into the wood to provide for the threaded support.

  • Inserting the nut is very tricky. As I have no special tools, I drilled a counter bore a little smaller than the nut. Then I hammered the nut into this bore.

  • The hammering is the trickiest part. If it is too light, the nut may move eventually, if it is too hard, the wood may break.

Utilisez une vis de pression au lieu d'un ressort

Sur le bloc de bois inférieur, percez un trou et insérez une vis assez grosse. Son extrémité doit être plate afin de ne pas endommager le support de la lampe (généralement un lit ou une étagère).

Il serait difficile de faire un fil dans le bois (vous pouvez cependant essayer). J'ai inséré un écrou dans le bois pour prévoir le support fileté.

L'insertion de l'écrou est très délicate. Comme je n'ai pas d'outils particuliers, j'ai percé un contre-alésage un peu plus petit que l'écrou. Ensuite, j'ai enfoncé l'écrou dans cet alésage.

Le martelage est la partie la plus délicate. S'il est trop léger, l'écrou peut finir par bouger, s'il est trop dur, le bois peut se casser.
