Insert an opening pick

  • Secure a suction handle to the bottom edge of the rear glass, as close to the edge as possible.

  • If the rear glass is cracked, the suction handle may not stick. Try lifting it with strong tape, or superglue the suction handle in place and allow it to cure so you can proceed.

  • Lift the rear glass with the suction handle to create a small gap between the rear glass and the frame.

  • In case you have trouble creating a gap, apply more heat to further soften the adhesive. Follow the iOpener instructions to avoid overheating.

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap you created.

  • Slide the opening pick to the bottom right corner to slice the adhesive.

  • Leave the opening pick in place to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

Inserta una púa de apertura

Asegura una ventosa de succión al borde inferior del cristal trasero, tan cercano al borde como sea posible.

Si el cristal trasero esta roto, la ventosa de succión puede que no se pegue. Intenta levantarlo con una cinta fuerte, o usa superpegamento en la ventosa y permite que seque para que puedas proceder.

Levanta el cristal trasero con la ventosa de succión para crear un pequeño hueco entre el cristal trasero y el marco.

En caso que tengas problemas creando un hueco, aplica más calor para aflojar mas el adhesivo. Sigue las instrucciones del iOpener para evitar sobrecalentamiento.

Inserta una púa de apertura dentro del hueco que acabas de crear.

Desliza la púa de apertura a la esquina inferior derecha para cortar el pegamento.

Deja la púa de apertura en este lugar para prevenir que el adhesivo reselle.
