Reset ink cartridge IC chip using a chip resetter

  • Remove the affected cartridge from the printer.

  • The cartridge IC chip is located on top of the cartridge.

  • Press the pins of the chip resetter on the three contacts of the IC chip until the LED of the resetter turns green.

  • Re-insert the cartridge into the printer. If the cartridge is still not recognized, try again several times and switch the printer off and on again.

  • If the problem is not solved, either the cartridge IC chip is defective (in this case, a new cartridge should work) or the problem is located on the printer side (e.g. defective main PCB or damaged software).

Réinitialiser la puce IC de la cartouche d'encre à l'aide d'un réinitialiseur de puce

Retirez la cartouche concernée de l'imprimante.

La puce IC de la cartouche est située sur le dessus de la cartouche.

Appuyez sur les broches du réinitialiseur de puce sur les trois contacts de la puce IC jusqu'à ce que la LED du réinitialiseur devienne verte.

Réinsérez la cartouche dans l'imprimante. Si la cartouche n'est toujours pas reconnue, réessayez plusieurs fois et éteignez et rallumez l'imprimante.

Si le problème n'est pas résolu, soit la puce IC de la cartouche est défectueuse (dans ce cas, une nouvelle cartouche devrait fonctionner), soit le problème se situe du côté de l'imprimante (par exemple, une carte de circuit imprimé principale défectueuse ou un logiciel endommagé).
