Resealing the Watch After Repairs, Prepping the Sealing Surfaces: crwdns2935265:00crwdnd2935265:01crwdnd2935265:01crwdne2935265:0
Prepping the Sealing Surfaces
  • Wash your hands! Oil and dirt on your fingers can get inside the watch, and also make it harder to work with the adhesive we'll be using.

  • To prepare for resealing the watch, clean the sealing surfaces thoroughly.

  • I used isopropyl alcohol on cotton swabs to clean the bezel and watch case sealing surfaces. All old gasket material should be removed.

  • It's easier to clean the case sealing surface with the display removed, so if you're removing the display during your repair, clean it then!
