Insert an opening pick

  • Secure a suction handle to the bottom edge of the screen, as close to the edge as possible.

  • If the screen is cracked, the suction handle may not stick. Try lifting it with strong tape, or superglue the suction handle in place and allow it to cure so you can proceed.

  • Lift the phone assembly with the suction handle to create a small gap between the assembly and the back cover.

  • In case you have trouble creating a gap, apply more heat to further soften the adhesive. Follow the iOpener instructions to avoid overheating.

  • Insert an opening pick in a steep angle into the gap you created. This might require some force.

  • Slide the opening pick to the bottom right corner to slice the adhesive and release the plastic clips holding the back cover in place.

Breng een openingsplectrum in de opening aan

Druk een zuignap op de onderkant van het scherm, zo dicht mogelijk bij de rand van de telefoon.

Als het scherm gebarsten is, kan de zuignap zich waarschijnlijk niet goed vastzuigen. Probeer het in dat geval op te tillen met een stuk sterke tape of lijm de zuignap op het scherm vast met wat secondelijm.

Til de telefoonmodule op met de zuignap en creëer zo een kleien opening tussen de module en de achterste behuizing.

Als je moeite hebt met het creëren van een opening dien je meer warmte toe om de lijm verder te verzwakken. Volg de instructies van de iOpener om oververhitting te voorkomen.

Steek een openingsplectrum in een scherpe hoek in de opening die je zojuist hebt weten te creëren. Dit kan wat kracht kosten.

Schuif je openingsplectrum naar de rechter benedenhoek om de lijm door te snijden en de behuizing uit de plastic klemmen los te maken.
