Heat the screen

  • Completely power off the Surface before you begin disassembly.

  • If the screen's glass is cracked, keep further breakage contained and prevent bodily harm during your repair by taping over the glass. Lay overlapping strips of clear packing tape over the display until all the glass is covered. Wear safety glasses to protect your eyes.

  • Heat an iOpener and apply it to the right edge of the Surface's screen for two minutes.

  • You may need to reheat and reapply the iOpener several times to get the Surface warm enough. Follow the iOpener instructions to avoid overheating.

  • A hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate may also be used for more heat, but be careful not to overheat the Surface—the screen and internal battery are susceptible to heat damage.

Chauffer l'écran

Éteignez complètement la Microsoft Surface Pro 5 avant de commencer le démontage.

Si le verre de l'écran est fissuré, évitez d'agraver les dégâts et de vous blesser pendant la réparation en collant du ruban adhésif sur le verre. Collez des bandes de ruban adhésif transparent sur l'écran jusqu'à ce qu'il soit complètement recouvert. Portez des lunettes de protection pour protéger vos yeux.

Chauffez un iOpener et appliquez-le sur le bord droit de l'écran de la Surface Pro 5 pendant deux minutes.

Il peut être nécessaire de réchauffer et de réappliquer l'iOpener plusieurs fois avant que la tablette soit assez chaude. Veuillez suivre les instructions de l'iOpener pour éviter toute surchauffe.

Un sèche-cheveux, un pistolet à air chaud ou une plaque chauffante peuvent également être utilisés s’il faut plus de chaleur, mais veillez à ne pas surchauffer la tablette, car l'écran et la batterie interne sont sensibles à la chaleur.
