Remove the screen

  • Thread the display flex cable through the gap in the midframe and remove the screen.

  • Apply new adhesive where it's necessary after cleaning the relevant areas with isopropyl alcohol (>90%).

  • During reassembly, follow this guide if you're using a pre-cut adhesive card.

  • If your replacement screen is not equipped with a new earpiece speaker module you need to transfer it from your old screen to the new one. To function correctly, the earpiece speaker needs to be installed on the new screen in exactly the same location that it was installed on the old screen.

Verwijder het scherm

Begeleid de schermflexkabel door het gat in het midframe en verwijder het scherm.

Breng nieuwe kleefstrips of lijm aan waar nodig nadat je de voorheen gelijmde gebieden hebt schoongemaakt met wat isopropyl alcohol (>90%).

Als je bij het weer in elkaar zetten van je toestel gebruik maakt van een vooraf op maat gesneden kleefstripkaart, kun je deze handleiding gebruiken om deze te bevestigen.

Als je nieuwe scherm niet met een oorstukspeaker is uitgerust, zul je deze van je oude naar je nieuwe scherm over moeten zetten. Om ervoor te zorgen dat deze naar behoren functioneert, zul je de oorstukspeaker op precies dezelfde plek op het nieuwe scherm moeten plaatsen als waar deze zich op het oude scherm bevond.
