How to remove a stuck battery

  • If you're still having trouble removing the battery, apply a few drops of high concentration (over 90%) isopropyl alcohol under the edge of the battery in the area of the broken adhesive strip(s).

  • Wait about one minute for the alcohol solution to weaken the adhesive.

  • Use an opening pick or the flat end of a spudger to gently lift the battery.

  • Don't try to forcefully lever the battery out. If needed, apply a few more drops of alcohol to further weaken the adhesive. Never deform or puncture the battery with your pry tool.

Een vastzittende batterij verwijderen

Als je nog steeds moeite hebt met het verwijderen van de batterij kun je wat druppels hoge concentratie (>90%) isopropyl alcohol onder de rand van de batterij toedienen. Dien de alcohol toe bij de vastzittende kleefstrip.

Wacht een minuutje zodat de alcohol in de lijm kan trekken en deze kan verzwakken.

Gebruik een openingsplectrum of het platte einde van je spudger om de batterij rustig omhoog te duwen.

Probeer de batterij er niet met botte kracht uit te wrikken. Indien nodig kun je meer alcohol toedienen om de lijm onder de batterij verder te verzwakken. Voorkom te allen tijde dat je de batterij vervormt of met je tool doorboort.
