Insert an opening pick

  • Secure a suction handle to the bottom edge of the rear glass, as close to the edge as possible.

  • If the rear glass is cracked, the suction handle may not stick. Try lifting it with strong tape, or superglue the suction handle in place and allow it to cure so you can proceed.

  • Lift the rear glass with the suction handle to create a small gap between the rear glass and the frame.

  • In case you have trouble creating a gap, apply more heat to further soften the adhesive. Follow the iOpener instructions to avoid overheating.

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap you created.

  • Slide the opening pick to the bottom right corner to slice the adhesive.

  • Leave the opening pick in place to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

Insérer un médiator

Appliquez une ventouse sur la partie inférieure de la vitre arrière, le plus près possible du bord.

Si la vitre arrière est fissurée, la ventouse pourrait ne pas fonctionner. Essayez de la soulever avec un ruban adhésif solide ou collez votre ventouse avec de la superglue et laissez la colle prendre avant de continuer.

Soulevez la vitre arrière à l'aide de la ventouse pour créer un espace entre la vitre arrière et le châssis du téléphone.

Si vous rencontrez des difficultés pour créer un espace, chauffez davantage la vitre arrière pour assouplir l'adhésif. Suivez les instructions de l'iOpener pour éviter la surchauffe.

Insérez un médiator dans l'ouverture que vous avez créée.

Faites glisser le médiator vers le coin inférieur droit du téléphone, pour couper l'adhésif.

Laissez le médiator en place pour empêcher l'adhésif de recoller.
