Remove the screws

  • Start by removing the marked screws:

  • Remove the four 6mm screws

  • Remove the two 8mm screws

  • Remove the four 9mm screws

  • These screws are different lengths, remember which order you removed them. Putting the wrong size screw in the wrong hole can cause damage.

  • The screw in the center is covered by a sticker that must be removed.

  • It is recommended to wear an anti-static wrist strap for this procedure.

  • Before you begin, make sure the new RAM is compatible. The RAM should be SODIMM DDR4 memory. Only up to a 16 GB modules are supported (for a total of 20GB)

Remueve los tornillos

Empieza por remover los tornillos marcados:

Remueve los cuatro tornillos de 6 mm

Remueve los dos tornillos de 8 mm

Remueve los cuatro tornillos de 9 mm

Estos tornillos son de diferente longitud, recuerda en que orden los removiste. Poner el tornillo de tamaño incorrecto en el agujero incorrecto puede causar daño.

El tornillo del centro está cubierto por una pegatina que hay que quitar.

Es recomendable usar una pulsera antiestática para este procedimiento.

Antes de empezar, asegúrate que la RAM nueva es compatible. La RAM debería ser memoria SODIMM DDR4. Solo son compatibles módulos de 16 GB (para un total de 20GB).
