Remove the adhesive residue

  • Before you install a new battery:

  • Peel and remove any remaining adhesive strips.

  • Remove all adhesive residue from the iPad frame. Use isopropyl alcohol and a spudger to scrape off any adhesive chunks. Wipe away the adhesive residue with a lint-free cloth.

  • If there's any alcohol solution remaining in the iPad, carefully wipe it off or allow it to air dry.

  • Be sure that the iPad frame surface is completely clean and free of debris. An uneven surface can press into the replacement battery, resulting in premature battery failure.

Klebstoffreste entfernen

Bevor du den neuen Akku einbaust:

Ziehe alle noch verbliebenen Klebestreifen ab und entferne sie.

Entferne alle Klebstoffreste vom Rahmen des iPads. Benutze Isopropylalkohol und schabe alle Ansammlungen von Klebstoff mit einem Spudger ab. Wische noch vorhande Reste mit einem fusselfreien Tuch ab.

Wenn noch Feuchtigkeit vom Alkohol im iPad verblieben ist, dann wische es sorgfältig weg oder lasse ihn austrocknen.

Die Oberfläche des Rahmens muss komplett sauber und frei von Schmutz sein. Eine unebene Oberfläche kann sich in den Ersatzakku hineindrücken, so dass der Akku vorzeitig ausfallen kann.
