Remove the battery

  • Try not to bend, crease, deform, poke, or puncture the battery with your tool—a damaged battery is a potential fire hazard.

  • Insert the flat end of a spudger between the battery and its housing through one of the cutouts.

  • Pull up to peel the battery away from the adhesive.

  • Remove the battery.

  • To install a new battery:

  • Use a spudger or your fingers to peel any old adhesive off of the battery housing. The old adhesive shouldn't leave any residue.

  • If your new battery doesn't come with preinstalled adhesive, place a couple strips of double-sided tape into the battery housing.

  • Orient your new battery so its cables route through the cutout in the corner of the housing. Press the battery firmly into place to secure it.

Verwijder de batterij

Voorkom dat je de batterij buigt, scheurt, doorboort of anderszins beschadigt. Een beschadigde batterij vormt namelijk altijd een potentieel veiligheidsrisico.

Steek de platte kant van je spudger tussen de batterij en de behuizing. Steek je spudger door een van de uitsnedes heen.

Duw je spudger rustig omhoog om de batterij van de lijm af te duwen.

Verwijder de batterij.

Om een nieuwe batterij te plaatsen:

Gebruik je je spudger of je vingers om de achtergebleven lijmresten uit de behuizing te verwijderen. Alle resten moeten verwijderd worden.

Als je nieuwe batterij niet met een kleefstrip wordt geleverd, kun je een paar stukjes dubbelzijdige tape in de behuizing plaatsen.

Plaats je nieuwe batterij zo dat de kabels door de uitsnede in de hoek van de behuizing kunnen lopen. Druk de batterij vervolgens stevig in de behuizing.
