Remove the battery

  • Try not to bend, crease, deform, poke, or puncture the battery with your tool—a damaged battery is a potential fire hazard.

  • Insert the flat end of a spudger between the battery and its housing through one of the cutouts.

  • Pull up to peel the battery away from the adhesive.

  • Remove the battery.

  • To install a new battery:

  • Use a spudger or your fingers to peel any old adhesive off of the battery housing. The old adhesive shouldn't leave any residue.

  • If your new battery doesn't come with preinstalled adhesive, place a couple strips of double-sided tape into the battery housing.

  • Orient your new battery so its cables route through the cutout in the corner of the housing. Press the battery firmly into place to secure it.

Essayez de ni plier, ni froisser, ni déformer, ni percer la batterie avec votre outil : une batterie endommagée risque de prendre feu.

Insérez l'extrémité plate d'une spatule entre la batterie et son compartiment, à travers l'une des encoches.

Faites levier vers le haut pour décoller la batterie.

Ôtez la batterie.

Pour installer une nouvelle batterie :

Utilisez la spatule ou vos doigts pour décoller les restes d'adhésif du compartiment de la batterie. L'ancien adhésif ne doit laisser aucun résidu.

Si votre nouvelle batterie n'est pas livrée avec de l'adhésif préinstallé, appliquez quelques bandes adhésives double-face dans le compartiment de la batterie.

Orientez votre nouvelle batterie de manière à ce que ses câbles passent par l’encoche dans le coin du compartiment. Appuyez fermement sur la batterie pour qu’elle adhère bien.
